Welcome to Conditions of Learning. The major question we will be addressing is: Why do some students learn more than other students? That is, what are the conditions, both inside and outside the classroom, that relate to student learning. We will be using information presented in books, journals, videotapes, computers and other media in our search for possible answers to this important question. You should be prepared to spend 10 to 15 hours per week outside of classtime to fulfill the requirements of the course. An overview of the course is shown in the Syllabus and the major objectives of the course are presented in Course Objectives.
