Fundamentals of Psychology (PSYC 2500)
 
        A general survey course designed to introduce students to the fundamental methods and
        content of contemporary psychology.

Experimental Psychology (PSYC 3600)
 
        An introduction to scientific/experimental research methods used in the study of 
        behavior. Specifically, this course involves the study of the scientific method and its use 
        in psychological research.
            Prerequisite: PSYC 3500 with a grade of "C" or better.

Social Psychology (PSYC 3710)
 
        Social psychology is "the scientific study of how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are
        influenced by the actual, imagined, or implied presence of others." The definition of social
        psychology was eloquently stated by Allport (1968).
            Prerequisite: PSYC 2500.

Tests and Measurement (PSYC 3900)
 
        Principles, techniques, and theory underlying construction and use of tests for
        educational and psychological measurement. 
                Prerequisite: PSYC 3500 with a grade of "C" or better.

Social Psychology (PSYC 7670)
 
        This is a graduate level course covers the integration of classic and contemporary
        theories, research, and application relating groups, organizations, culture, and society to
        individual behavior.
            Prerequisite: Graduate standing or permission of instructor.

Social Psychology in Educational Contexts (PSYC 9710)
 
        This graduate level course applies social psychological principles and theories to the
        study of schools as dynamic social organizations. Some of the topics covered are
        aggression, group processes, attributions, attitude, and attitude change.
            Prerequisite: Graduate standing or permission of instructor.
