Suggestions for improvement or additional comments:
Becoming aware of sex stereotypes to avoid contributing to their false widespread beliefs. Gaining a greater appreciation or tolerance for different sexual preferences, nonconforming gender roles, and learning how to rpevent continuation of these stereotypes in future generations.
Learning specific percentages and statistics. A general understanding of the impact of certain studies is better than knowing exact numbers to the decimal.
It is a great course and one that is most influential by the present instructor. There are many theories and concepts covered from various areas of psychology that are incorporated into the course and are applied to the studies of sex and gender. I learned a lot from this class and Dr. Whatley is a great and challenging professor.
