Most Valuable Course Aspects: Least Valuable Course Aspects: Suggestions for improvement:

I thought that designing the survey and evaluating it was an important aspect because it taught us first hand the steps in designing a test through the process of test development. The text was confusing and overly "wordy." Because the style of teaching was not lecture based, I feel as if a more concise text would be beneficial. I would like to see more test assessment of already established tests. I would have also liked to focus more on the later chapters in the text dealing with intelligence or personality assessments.
the website and links it provided, and the "creation" of the infidelity test. the text book...horrible, horrible book. change books, and go over the more interesting stuff (intelligence and personality assessment) in the summer.
The online chapter quizes were valuable b/c they offered another way of preparing for class each day as well as they gave insight as to some of the concepts the instructer wanted the students to master. not going over tests in class. All students are told that they may come to my office and go over the exams there. Going over the exams in class wastes too much time. if we could go over the answers to the tests and pop quizes so i will know what questions i got wrong so i can better myself for later examinations. even if we do not go over the answers in class provide a copy of the test and pop quiz questions so we can go over them on our own. if you do not want to hand out copies of questions then simply run through them in class. That would be a major help!!!!!!!!
