Great teacher; fun to be around, and very knowledgeable None really N/A
Fun, interesting, very applicable to real life; videos/website very helpful N/A N/A
The videotapes give a better understanding and an example of the topics in the class. His website was also great! N/A N/A
The website helped to get notes if you did not get them all in class. The videotape that Dr. Whatley presented helped illustrate the subject that we were talking about. N/A N/A
Very creative teaching Material seems boring N/A
Dr. Whatley used video clips of certain T.V. shows that related to the topics covered in class. The clips made the class more interesting and I learned more by relating the topics in the book to everyday situations that occur now - instead of 50 years ago. N/A Keep showing the videos! Class does not seem as long or boring when you have something we can relate to.
Dr. Whatley gave plenty of chances for extra credit. This was a big help! N/A N/A
The website was awesome. I appreciated the study also. I also appreciated Dr. Whatley's quick response to grading and giving feedback. I would have probably in more group situations during classtime. N/A
Teacher and his use of materials to support theories presented in book. Outlines & quizzes on the website were very helpful. None None
The material involved was given to us in a very explicit way. Dr. Whatley is a very good teacher. He always makes himself accessible to anyone who may need his assistance. He put his notes on his we bsite that was very helpful. In class, he complimented the subject material with video clips that helped us to associate the concepts to real world situations. N/A
The organization of the class & Dr. Whatley. Dr. Whatley's teaching ability and interest in what the student thinks. The time it was offered. Only having 3 tests. N/A
Lively discussions & class input. Too many clips. More variation of structure.
I believe that the web site help with my understanding the material. N/A N/A
The class was always interesting to me. I looked forward to this class - I thought Dr. Whatley was very approachable and a very good teacher. He interacted w/us and never belittled us, he made class interesting and not boring. It was easy to understand the concepts of social psyc w/all the diff. methods he used to help us learn - videos, website, quizzes, handouts, going outside, etc. which is unlike many of my other classes. N/A N/A
Excellent instructor. Useful information. Well presented information. None Informative and interesting class. Course should be required for all majors!
Raised students level of understanding about their own behavior and the behavior of others. Exams probably should not have been all multiple choice. Students probably should have been required to perform on subjective tests. N/A
The websites were helpful. The videos were o.k., sometimes a little confusing. N/A Have more test to give more chances to increase your grade.
The knowledge of the instructor. The use of Power Point. Books available. Lack of discussion. Lack of motivation. To be more strict with the students. Discuss every issue in class with the instructor.
It was interesting, the video clips helped. The girl in front of me is pretty. None! It was good. Website = good. Video clips good.
