FALL 2008 FINAL EXAM: WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 10th at 6:00pm in BC 3009

Exam advice:

1.  READ THE CHAPTERS!! I cannot emphasize this enough.

2.  Outline the chapters.

3.  Attend class, and come to class having already read and/or skimmed the chapter.

4.  Supplement your lecture notes with notes you take from the book.

5.  Take the sample quizzes for each chapter. The sample quizzes are available via the "Class Lectures and Practice Exams" link.

6.  When you miss a question, make a note of it, and keep going. DO NOT simply "click" on other alternatives to find the correct
answer; that is "hunting" not learning. After you have finished, then go back and review the material and then try again.

7.  Make flash cards for the material you are having trouble understanding and actually use them. Go through them as you are waiting
     for your classes to begin.

8.  Do not wait until the last minute to begin studying. By last minute, I mean do not wait until 1-3 days before the exam to actually start
studying. If you do, then, in my opinion, you will be underprepared for the exam.
