1995 Subaru Legacy LS: Has 129,000 miles. Second owner-purchased with 34000 miles from Lexus of Kendall in Miami, FL.
Has automatic transmission, 4 cylinder engine (20 city, 26 highway), power steering, power windows, power locks, cruise control, air conditioning, power sunroof, all-wheel drive, anti-lock brakes, front and passenger airbags, CD player with 6 speakers.
Runs good-body in fair shape (lots of dings and scratches). Has a small oil drip (nothing major, don't even need to add oil, just makes a mess on the driveway, probably easy fix).
Very safe to drive with good crash test ratings-very low insurance costs due to safety and lack of theft. If one wanted to spend $300 on a new paint job and some dent removal, it would look sharp. Subarus are very durable cars (I have owned 5) so this one has plenty of life left in it.
Comes with NOS (new old stock never used) water pump, oil pump, spark plugs, etc.

The BRAT is a unique vehicle sold by Subaru in the U.S. from 1978 to 1987 (later in Australia).
The BRAT stands for Bi-drive, recreational all-terrain transporter.

The above photos are of my BRAT at my house in Georgia.
Some new rims I got recently-
The BRAT has rear jump seats (although I have not got anyone to actually sit in these while driving!).
These were installed so
Subaru could import the vehicle as a car, not a truck, thus saving big bucks in
import taxes (3% for a car, 28% for a truck). The seats have headrests, handgrips, and seat belts.
The interior is light blue and in reasonably good condition.
The engine has been overhauled by the previous owner (Pete Berard of Petes Auto in Valdosta)
and runs great. Only 83K on this one (when I bought it in 1999-now has 101,000 (as of March, 2008))
My BRAT has unique graphics (but lacks the stripe).

Its the truck, not me!

Is he a proto-Calvin?

Installing the Weber carburetor
This really helps give it some much needed pep!
