Americans. It also has lots of great pictures for your viewing pleasure.

this site to learn everything you could ever want to know about all of
the presidents of the United States of America. Learn about
their lives and the time they spent in office. This site is partially
under construction, but there is still lots of information to find.

site will allow you to look at life two hundred years ago in Colonial America.
It chronicles a family from New Castle, Delaware. See what their
daily lives were like and how much America has changed since.

this site and you can explore the daily life of pioneer families who traveled
and eventually settled the American West. Learn about wagon trains
and pioneer's possessions that include food, toys, first aid, etc.
This site also has lots of wonderful illustrations that help bring the

the people that made America great from Betsy Ross to the Wright Brothers.

Activity 1
| 1. Describe Activity | You have been chosen to complete a most daring assignment for your class newspaper. As a roving reporter, you will travel in the time capsule back to early America and the time of the Pilgrims. Your boss needs you to find out everything you can about the European settlers who first came to America including their journey to America, their daily life, and their interactions with the Native Americans they encountered. Once you have collected your data, you will return to present time and compile an article for the class newspaper. Good luck and be safe!!! |
