Paint-A-Story Problem
Think of a Story Problem that you would like to write and draw a picture to share in class.
Examples:
The class went out to play.  There were 14 jump ropes and 11 children wanted to play jump rope.  Did everyone that wanted to use a jump rope get to use one?  How many extra jump ropes were left after everyone started jumping?
Chris is in charge of ordering pizza for the class party.  Each pizza is cut into six pieces.  He believes there would be 29 people at the party.  He wanted to have enough for everyone to have one piece of pizza.  How many pizzas should he order?   Will there be any extra pieces of pizza?
