Rain Forest Fun!

1.  This site is a wealth of knowledge.  It contains many fun activities.  A really neat activity appears if students click on "strata".  This activity helps children to uncover the animals in each layer.  Students can also type in their own Rain Forest questions.

2.  Kids can view many of the Rain Forest animals in a picture created by a 13 year old girl.  This page contains a neat counting activity.

3.  This web site links students to actual Rain Forest Inhabitants (people).  There is much information and many pictures about the Cofan people.

4.  This link will take children to the Amazon Rain Forest.  Here it is possible to gather information about many Rain Forest topics.

5.  Children can see the actual amount of rainfall in the Amazon compared to many things.  Children can also click on any part of the country to compare its rainfall with that of the Rain Forest.

6.  The possibilities are endless on this page.  Kids can explore, color, read stories, or participate in other exciting activities related to the Rain Forest.

7.  This cool site takes students on a journey to the rain forest.  There are several neat pictures to view.


 

8.  This page supplies a ton of neat information.  There is fascinating animals, plants,  and people which inhibit the tropical rain forest.  There are also many important conservation issues discussed.

9.  This web site focuses on endangered species.  There is a ton of neat information on endangered species of the rain forest.

10.  The Rain Forest workshop discusses both the Tropical and Temperate Rain Forests.  Children can click on many fun topics to explore.
