Plant yourself into my third grade classroom.  It is a fun and educational place to learn at Eastside Elementary School.  We are located in a small town in Southwest Georgia.  Our town, Cairo, is located approximately 32 miles north of Tallahassee, FL.  There will be many opportunities for parental involvement.  There will be several family projects to work on together at home throughout the year.  We will also study a unit on Georgia, where we will learn about the history of Georgia and its products.  There is a tremendous leap from second grade to third grade.  This acquires a great deal of work, but we will have a great deal of fun as we learn all of the new objectives for third grade.  I will make the transition from second grade to third grade as pleasant as possible.  With good parent teacher communication and support, all children in my class will experience success.  I'm always looking forward to seeing those smiling faces come into my classroom because I...
