You are a bug scientist, also called an entomologist. Today you are exploring the different sizes of caterpillars. Click on the picture below to go to a picture of a caterpillar. Ask an adult to help you print the page. Once you have printed the page, color it and cut it out very neatly. Now, find a ruler and ask an adult to help your measure the caterpillar to find out how long it is. Are caterpillars really that big? After you have colored, cut and measured the caterpillar, you can find some construction paper and cut it out to look like a real caterpillar. Grab your ruler and measure this one too! Is it bigger or smaller? Talk about it with someone.
